LEague Rules
1611 Golf Club League Rules & Policies
1. League Structure
-
The league consists of a 7-week regular season, followed by a championship week.
-
Teams carry over week to week so each team will have an aggregate to par score. This will be the score that determines each team's overall season standing.
-
The top 4 teams in the season standings (regardless of location) after 7 weeks will advance to the finals.
-
Location is not a determining factor for advancement. If all top 3 teams are from the same location, all three will still advance.
2. Championship Format & Location
-
The championship will be hosted at the home location of the 1st place team following the 7-week regular season.
-
Only the top 4 teams qualify for the Finals
3. Entry Fees & Payments
-
All league entry fees must be paid in full prior to the start of league play.
-
Non-member teams are responsible for paying their bay rental each week, in addition to the league entry fee.
-
Member teams receive bay access according to their membership terms.
-
All entry fees are non-refundable and no portion of the entry fee will be refunded for any missed/unplayed weeks.
4. Scheduling & Bay Booking
-
All teams are responsible for booking their own bays each week.
-
Bay availability is first come, first served at each location.
-
All rounds must be completed before the close of business on Sunday nights .
-
Rounds played outside of the designated week will not count.
5. Team Rosters & Alternates
-
Teams may use one (1) alternate player if a rostered player is unable to compete.
-
Alternates must be approved by league staff and may not replace more than one primary team member.
6. Mulligan Policy
-
Mulligans are not allowed except in the case of a verified system error.
-
All mulligans must be approved by a 1611 Golf Club staff member before being taken.
-
Any unauthorized mulligan will result in a two (2) stroke penalty per mulligan.
7. Weekly Prizes
-
Weekly prizes are awarded via random drawing.
-
Performance is not required to win weekly prizes—participation makes teams eligible.
8. Tie-Breaking Procedures
Ties in the Season Standings at the end of the regular season will be broken by team's weekly scores, starting with Week 7 and working backwards. (Week 7, Week 6, Week 5, ...)
9. Sportsmanship & Enforcement
-
All players are expected to compete with honesty and integrity.
-
League staff reserve the right to enforce rules, assess penalties, and resolve disputes.
