ABOUT 1611
More Than a Golf Simulator.
This is 1611 Golf Club.

Every great idea starts somewhere. For BJ Warren and Aaron Adair, it started on a golf course. As high school golf coaches, they spent their careers watching people fall in love with the game — the focus it demands, the friendships it builds, the way a single great shot can keep you coming back for years. But they also saw the barriers. Golf could feel exclusive, intimidating, expensive. The kind of thing you had to already belong to before you could really belong.

They wanted to change that. In 2017, BJ and Aaron set out to build something different — a place where a scratch golfer chasing their best round and a first-timer just looking for a fun night out could walk through the same door and both feel completely at home. A place with the technology and seriousness of a country club, but the energy and accessibility of your favorite hangout spot. A place where membership meant something, without the stuffiness that word usually carries.

That idea became 1611 Golf Club.

When they opened their doors in February 2018, they weren't just launching a business — they were introducing the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex to a new way to experience golf.

Soon after, BJ and Aaron brought Ryder Stroud on board. Ryder, who was one of 1611's original members, began to manage operations and help grow 1611. Ryder brought an outsider's perspective and expertise to match the vision BJ and Aaron had built. Together, the three shaped 1611 into what it is today: the premier game improvement and entertainment facility in DFW, now spanning three locations and growing.

So what does that actually look like? For the serious golfer, it means state-of-the-art Trackman technology — the same used by many of the world's top players — offering real-time ball and club data, video analysis, and professional club building. For everyone else, it means a full bar and kitchen, the ability to play full rounds on over 500+ world-famous courses, monthly leagues and competitions, and enough big screens to never miss a moment.

Whether you're here to grind out a better swing, grab drinks and go head-to-head with friends, or just try something genuinely fun on a Friday night — 1611 was built for you.

Train. Play. Party. That's always been the idea.

FAQ
  • The typical round takes an average golfer 1 hour. When booking a bay, it is a good rule of thumb to add an hour for each player in your group.

  • Most of our customers DO bring their own clubs. However, if you do not have clubs or happen to forget yours, no need to worry! We offer rental sets for $10. Club rentals are free for 1611 Members & Corporate Members

  • We are not your typical "Country Club". You can wear golf clothes, athletic shoes, jeans & boots or whatever you feel comfortable in while swinging the sticks!

  • The Trackman course library continues to grow each and every month. You can checkout the up to date course list here: TRACKMAN COURSE LIST

  • Trackman 4 measures and displays the full trajectory of any shot. From 6-foot pitch shots to 350+ yard drives. Pinpointing the landing position with an accuracy of 1 1/2 feet up to 300 yards and 3 feet at distances greater than 300 yards.

Now we know that you "typically" carry your drives 320 yards, but if Trackman is trusted by a large majority of the top 100 players in the world, including, Dustin Johnson, Justin Thomas & Rory McIlroy, you can trust the data you get at 1611!

  • We highly suggest a maximum of 4 players to a bay. This helps for faster plays and a more enjoyable experience! More golf is always better than less golf!

  • Everything you would do outside, you can do at 1611, Plus More! Range Sessions (w/ much better data using a Trackman), Play Full Rounds at nearly 300 courses from around the world, Swing Video Analysis, Multiple Games, Trackman Combine & More!

  • Of course! 1611 features a full service bar and a craft kitchen! Our craft kitchen offers delicious apps FORE the table, stone-fired pizzas, wraps, salads & "slices" of sweet desserts!

And what is golf without a cold beer or a cocktail? Grab some Swing Fuel before, during & after your round!
Our full-service bar offers: golf-inspired handcrafted cocktails, draft beers & wine!

  • Nope! You do not have to have a membership. Non-members bay rentals are $60/hour. The bays are rented per hour, not per person. So, if you have multiple people in your party, you can split the bay rental up however you would like!

  • We do allow walk-ins. However we strongly encourage all customers (members & non-members) book a bay in advance. That way you are able to not only ensure availability but that you also have the opportunity to book for your desired length of time.
