TEAM SELECTION
Each team will be made up of 6 players including 4 qualifying spots reserved for 1611 Members.

  2. 1611 Golf Club's Trackman Rep
  3. Qualifying Spot #1
  4. Qualifying Spot #2
  5. Qualifying Spot #3
  6. Qualifying Spot #4
OVERALL SCORING
  • Each club will place their 6 players into three 2-man teams.
  • ​Each 2-man team will play a 9-hole match against each of the opposing club's 3 teams. 
  • Resulting in a total of nine 9-hole matches being played 
  • Each Match is worth 1 point: 
  • Win = 1 Point
  • Tie = .5 Point
  • The first club to reach 5 total points will be declared the winner

Tiebreaker: In the event that each club wins 4.5 points, 1 player will be selected from each club to compete in a Closest-To-The-Pin contest to determine the winner.

9-HOLE MATCHES
  • Course: TBD. Course selection will be decided and agreed upon by both clubs. Course will be announced in the weeks leading up to The Match. 
  • Format: 2-Man Best Ball match play (Gross score - No Handicaps)
  • Matches will be played live via the new Trackman Online feature. (Get more details about Trackman's Online here!)
Who’s ready to tee it up and rep 1611 Golf Club? Because it's showdown time against some foes from Florida! Coastal Indoor Golf from Jacksonville, Florida has called us out and now we have to settle it in the sim! 

We must assemble TEAM 1611 to take on Coastal in a 6 v 6 match play event on June 15! We need top talent to rally under the Team 1611 banner and conquer our rivals from Florida. The Match: Qualifying Tournament will be open to all 1611 Members starting April 29th - May 31st.
QUALIFYING ATTEMPTS
1611 Members will have as many attempts as they would like in order to try and qualify to be a part of Team 1611.

The 4 Qualifying spots will be announced via email & social media on Monday, June 3rd!

QUALIFYING TOURNAMENT

BE A MEMBER AT 1611
To be eligible for a spot on Team 1611 in The Match vs Coastal Golf Club, you MUST have an active membership at 1611 Golf Club. 
FINISH IN THE TOP 4
Place in Top 4 of the Team 1611 - Qualifying Tournament. The Top 4 players will automatically earn a spot on Team 1611! Ties will be broken with a reverse scorecard playoff.
