Indoor Golf in Fort Worth, North Richland Hills and Burleson: What a Night at 1611 Looks Like

· 4 min read · 1611 Golf Club

A group of friends having a night out at 1611

When people search for indoor golf, they usually picture one of two things. One is a quiet room with a hitting net. The other is a loud warehouse full of flying balls. 1611 Golf Club is neither. It's an elevated club, sports bar and lounge with Trackman golf simulators, craft cocktails and a full kitchen. You'll find us in Fort Worth, North Richland Hills and Burleson.

The golf is what sets us apart. But you don't need to play golf to have a good night here.

A Sports Bar and Lounge First

Picture the place before you picture the swing. 1611 is somewhere to meet friends, watch a game and order a drink you'd actually want to order twice. Then you settle in for a while.

The bar mixes craft cocktails. The full kitchen means you can make a real meal of it, not just snack between shots. Plenty of guests come for the lounge and the company, and the golf bays are simply part of the room.

That's the core idea behind our version of indoor golf. Nobody gets left out. The friend who has played for twenty years and the friend who has never held a club can sit at the same table, share the same food and have the same good time.

What Indoor Golf on a Trackman Simulator Is Like

The bays use Trackman simulators. You hit a real ball with a real club into a screen, and the system reads the shot and shows where it would have gone.

For golfers, that means honest feedback on every swing, in any weather, at any time of year. It's a way to keep your game sharp when it's too hot, too cold or too wet to be outside, or when you only have an evening rather than a whole morning on a course.

For non-golfers, it's much simpler than it sounds. You step up, you swing and the screen does the rest. A miss is part of the fun, and a good shot feels great whether it's your first or your thousandth. No one is waiting behind you on a tee box. Your group can go at its own pace, trade off swings and pause for food whenever you like.

Why Indoor Golf Works for Groups

Outdoor golf asks a lot of a group. Everyone needs clubs, a free afternoon and some skill. Indoor golf at 1611 takes most of that away.

  • Mixed skill levels are fine. Strong players and total beginners can share a bay without anyone feeling rushed or out of place.
  • Not everyone has to swing. Some people will want to hit all night. Others would rather sit back with a cocktail and cheer. Both work.
  • Food and drinks come to you. With a full kitchen and bar right there, the bay becomes your table for the evening.
  • The weather doesn't matter. Texas summers and surprise storms don't cancel your plans.

That makes indoor golf a good fit for date nights, catching up with old friends, team outings and celebrations. If you're planning something bigger, our parties page covers private events and group bookings. Parties start at 12 guests. Bays are priced by the hour with a 2-hour minimum, food packages are priced per person, and your Event Director will put together exact pricing for your group.

Three Locations Across Tarrant and Johnson Counties

We have clubs in Fort Worth, North Richland Hills and Burleson, so there's likely one near you. All three share the same approach: a sports bar and lounge with Trackman simulators, craft cocktails and a full kitchen.

Pick the one that's easiest for your group. If you're meeting people coming from different directions, that's even easier.

Tips for Your First Indoor Golf Visit

If you've never tried a simulator before, a few things help:

  1. Book a bay ahead of time. It's the easiest way to make sure your group has a spot when you arrive.
  2. Come as you are. You don't need your own clubs or golf clothes to enjoy the night.
  3. Plan to eat. With a full kitchen on hand, dinner and golf fit naturally into the same evening.
  4. Let everyone choose their role. Some guests will swing the whole time and some will barely pick up a club. Both are a good night.
  5. Ask questions. If you're unsure how anything works, just ask our team.

For the Regulars

Some guests find that indoor golf becomes a habit. That might mean a weekly practice session or a standing night out with the same group. If that sounds like you, take a look at our memberships. We also host gatherings throughout the year, and you can see what's coming up on our events page.
